What is a TeeShirt Fund?
Tee Shirt Fund is a free social fundraising platform where you can raise money and awareness for things that you’re passionate about through the sale of customized apparel. You get your own fundraising page where your supporters make purchases. We handle all of the details and at the end campaign, we deliver the shirts to you with a check of your proceeds.
How does TeeShirt Fund work?
Is there a minimum number of shirts that need to be ordered?
Yes, we require that at least 10 shirts be purchased per fund before we can print them.
How does the pricing work?
Once the design is complete and you have chosen your shirt style, we will figure out the base price for the shirt. Then, you choose how much you want to sell the shirts for and you keep the difference. It's that easy!
What types of files do you accept?
How will I know if the design I uploaded will look ok?
Before we launch your campaign, our graphics team will review your artwork to ensure it adheres to TeeShirt Fund's content guidelines. If you submit a file that simply will not work, we will do our best to recreate it for you. The new artwork will be sent to you via email for approval. If the artwork you submitted simply will not work, we will send you an email requesting new artwork, or you can choose to work with one of our designers to come up with different artwork that will work. When your campaign ends, we print your products using the optimized artwork.
Will you match the ink colors to my design exactly?
We have a lot of ink to choose from, and we do our best to get the ink colors as close as we can to your design. Although we try our best, we can not guarantee the match will be 100%.
Why can't I upload my file?
If you are having issues uploading your file, please email us at email@example.com, and we will help you.
What things can NOT be printed, and why?
TeeShirt Fund reserves the right to review any TeeShirt Fund for adherence to our content policies. Before uploading your artwork, please ensure that it does not contain any of the following:
Trademarks are symbols, words or colors that represent a company, organization or product. Trademarks are registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and afford their owners strong legal protections. Here are a few examples:
Copyright refers to the legal protections afforded to the creators and owners of intellectual property. Unlike trademarks, copyright does not need to be registered with a government body, and is automatically granted to artists, authors and creators. Here are some examples:
TeeShirt Fund does not allow or support any hateful funds. All funds are to be positive in light and not harmful in any way. This means no hateful, spiteful, violent, or insensitive material.
TeeShirt Fund does not allow campaigns that attempt to deceive buyers in any way. This is especially relevant for fundraising campaigns, where profits and donations benefit a specific cause or organization.
If false representations are made by a seller during a campaign, especially a fundraising campaign, the campaign may be taken down and TeeShirt Fund may alert the authorities.
Why do I need an account if I am just buying a shirt?
We require that every customer have an account so that we can save your order history and you will have the availability to look that up online.
What if I want a different shirt than you offer?
Although we offer our three most popular teeshirt styles, we are not necessarily limited to those. We have access to thousands of shirt styles. All you have to do is ask! We would be more than happy to email you samples of different style shirts. A great example is: You're a running club and you want sport tek style shirts with wicking capabilities. We can do that!
How can I track my order?
You can track your order by logging into your account and clicking the account number.
If you didn’t receive an order confirmation email, check your Spam/Junk folder and search for “TheeShirt.Fund”. If all else fails, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I return a shirt?
Because all shirts are made-to-order, they are non-returnable. However, if your product has flaws or defects in workmanship, please contact our customer service team via email at email@example.com and get a return authorization. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Re-produced orders may be printed using a different printing method. Due to dye lot variances, some shading differences may occur on occasion beyond our control. Due to the fact that we may have to reproduce a shirt, please allow 5-7 business days for your order to be processed. For any shirt type that is not 100% cotton, if back stock is not available, a refund will be issued and the shirt will not be reproduced.
Can I order more than one shirt?
Yes! We would love that! Just make sure that you purchase all shirts in the same order to avoid paying multiple shipping costs.
Can I cancel my campaign?
Yes, as long as no orders have been placed. If orders have been placed, the fund can not be canceled unless approved by a team member at TeeShirt Fund.
How will I get paid?
Sending Payouts Directly to Beneficiary
You may wish to send all profits and donations directly to the individual, organization or cause listed as your beneficiary. The best way to do this is by simply supplying the PayPal account email address of the person or organization receiving the funds. You can do this during campaign setup or after your campaign closes. TeeShirt Fund does not cover any PayPal fees.
What happens if I don't meet my goal?
That's ok! We will print any TeeShirt Fund that has sold 10 shirts or more.
TeeShirt Fund also offers checks as a form of payment.
Do I have to pay taxes?
By law, it is your responsibility to report any income you generate and pay all applicable taxes. Everyone’s tax situation is different, so we’re unable to offer specific guidance. Please consult your attorney or tax advisor for more detailed information.
For individuals that earn or raise more than $600 on TeeShirt Fund in one calendar year, TeeShirt Fund will report that income by issuing a 1099 form. One copy of the completed form will be sent to the IRS while the other is sent to the seller. TeeShirt Fund mails out 1099s at the beginning of each year.
Corporations, nonprofits and non-US individuals are solely responsible for reporting any income earned on TeeShirt Fund.
When will I be charged?
You will not be charged until the TeeShirt Fund ends. The day it ends, your card will be charged and we will begin the process of printing the shirts.
What happens if my credit card fails at the time of processing?
If your credit card fails at the time of processing, you will not receive the product you requested. This is because as soon as the fund closes, we go into production. You will be notified by email about the failed charge.
I just ordered a shirt, when will I recieve it?
Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for design, printing, and shipping of the orders. We will not ship any products before a fund has completed.
Where can I ship the products I purchased?
We currently only sihp within the United States. If you live overseas, you may still help a fund by purchasing a shirt, but your product will need to be shipped with in the U.S.
